I hung a diaphanous tarpaulin in the doorway at the top of staircase.

At the back of this tarpaulin are a table, a tropical plant, and a bottle of water, so that their silhouette is cut out, by transparen-cy. Thus this screen which closes the real space - by prohibiting the access, constitutes a space of projection.

While being aware of the depth behind, we are faced with a pictorial image, a still life in sfumato.
